I am a designer, artist, illustrator, children book author and a maker of all kinds of colorful things. No matter what I am making color is what connects it all.
I fell in love with color when I was a kid and making art has been a life-long love of mine.
Whether I am creating for kids, like with PaperGirl Collection or something beautiful for the home or branding and graphic design for clients big or small, I see each project as an art-making opportunity to make something special.

a year-long quarantine
personal color project
My search for color (and a world-wide pandemic lockdown) is what got me started on what I have called my COLOR/FLORA project.
Since March 2020 I have been photographing colorful groupings of whatever grows, blooms, fruits or decays only within my yard and then, creating color palettes that expand my understanding of color combinations.
In the process I have also become a good gardener.

I never met an art material that I did not want to try, so I end up experimenting and falling in love with many art techniques that I keep in my bag of tricks, ready to be used when the opportunity arises.
Collage, solar cyanotypes or….mmm….Holiday cookies.
I love creating with these too.
