Last month highlight: June ‘21

memory Card game: Burrowland.

I grew up playing memory match cards for hours with my abuela, my card set (which I still have and use to play with my daughter) is the classic Milton Bradley set from the late 60’s illustrated by the wonderful Eames (of chair fame). We gave nicknames to some of the cards and I specially liked one that looked like me in my nightgown (next to the horse).

This is another Make Art that Sells assignment by Lilla Rogers. The assignment was to create a memory match game with animals that burrow.
I learnt a lot about these animals as I was doing research and while there are many more animals that burrow I decided to stick with fur and feathers plus the scaled pangolin.
